Position Overview:
We are seeking a creative and talented Video Editor Intern to join our team for a 3-month internship. As a Video Editor & Animator Intern, you will collaborate with our content creators and marketing team to produce engaging video content that showcases our platform and services. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in video editing while contributing to CourseFinder's mission of facilitating accessible education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit and enhance video footage to create compelling content for CourseFinder's website, social media platforms, and promotional materials.
- Collaborate closely with content creators and marketing team members to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality videos that align with our brand image.
- Incorporate visual effects, graphics, and animations to enhance video content and maintain viewer engagement.
- Ensure consistency in branding, style, and messaging across all video projects.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in video editing techniques, software, and equipment.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Aftereffect, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong understanding of video editing techniques, including cutting, sequencing, color correction, and audio mixing. Also, Animation knowledge is required.
- Creativity and attention to detail, with the ability to transform raw footage into polished, professional videos.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Prior experience with video editing projects or coursework is preferred but not required.
- Enthusiasm for learning and a passion for creating visually captivating content.
